We are excited to announce that Lauren Daugherty is the winner of Buy-Rite Beauty's annual Beauty School Scholarship for 2020. Lauren is a cosmetology student in the Cosmetology Program at the Aveda Institute located in Nashville Tennessee. We selected Lauren's submitted essay due to her involvement with the Love The Dress charity event. Lauren has volunteered her time, over the last several years, by providing hair and makeup for those less fortunate. After graduating from Aveda, she hopes to open her own salon at some point and continue providing services to the homeless, the elderly, and first responders.
We are proud to announce that Naeshia McDowell is the winner of Buy-Rite Beauty's annual Beauty School Scholarship. Naeshia is a cosmetology student in the Cosmetology Program at Atlanta Technical College. Naeshia's essay on human trafficking awareness, along with her selfless desire to make the world a better place are the key reasons we chose Naeshia to be this year's winner. Through her hard work and dedication, Naeshia has taken it upon herself to spend her time outside of the classroom training and making society aware of this very troubling issue. It is this type of dedication and drive to make the world a better place, that we as a company love to support.
